Loading... Please wait...Over the years we’ve tried every mirror we can find for our dirt bikes, adventure tourers, and dual sports. Know what we learned? Street mirrors don’t fold, folding mirrors don’t last, OEM mirrors are too expensive, bicycle mirrors are too flimsy, cheap mirrors vibrate too much, etc., etc….
Enter the DoubleTake mirror: durable, adjustable, and simple! Vibration resistant enough to really be usable on the highway, yet instantly foldable when you hit the trail. The ingenious design mounts using standard RAM mount hardware. Hands down, this is the best design we’ve seen for on/off road use.
Props to Chadx on ADV for suggesting we point out you will need to order a base and an arm for each mirror (unless you’re like us and have RAM parts laying around the shop/garage/trailer). Here’s the options:

I've been using these mirrors all summer on my dual sport. I like them so much I ordered more for my wife's dual sport and for my ATV.
Note that they do NOT come with a RAM arm or RAM balls. You need to purchase those separate. This item is the mirror/stalk only.
I used 3" RAM arms and finally I have mirrors that stick out far enough that I can see past my shoulders and arms. I rarely fold them in when offroad, but nice to have the option. When I've crashed, they moved out of the way without breaking. If you tighten them down enough, they stay put when riding the rough stuff and also at highway speeds. Best mirrors I've ever used.
I mounted ball mounts on both the bikes and the ATV, but only purchased 3 mirrors and arm setups. It takes about 7 seconds to move them from bike to bike to ATV. Perfect.
